Lansing – Today is the first-ever National Digital Learning Day! As part of this initiative, Governor Snyder issued a proclamation to recognize the importance of technology supported learning in Michigan. Gov. Snyder's proclamation references Michigan Virtual School as "one of the largest in the country."
Later today, the event sponsors will host a national town hall meeting. The meeting will include Arne Duncan, U.S. Secretary of Education and Julius Genachowski, Chairperson of the Federal Communications Commission.
