Lansing – Andrew Vanden Heuvel, Michigan Virtual School online physics teacher and “Glass Explorer” recently became the first teacher to teach a science class from inside the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland.

Lansing – Election officials and their staff now have a new online training resource that allows them to take courses, view video tutorials and participate in webinars for self-paced learning from the Michigan Bureau of Elections.

MVU is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify vendors with content capable of delivering quality online coursework to high school, middle school, and elementary school students through the Michigan Virtual School and to select a provider or providers of high-quality content, whether as complete courses or as learning objects (by “learning object” we mean a reusable, self-contained digital entity that may be used to support learning).
